Limerick Celtics overcame Glenbeigh Falcons in a thrilling final to win the Denis Daly U12 Girls Tournament. Denis Daly U12 Girls Tournament was held in Parochial Hall last Saturday. Twelve teams from Galway, Kerry ,Limerick and Cork took part in a wonderful day of basketball. The semi finals saw Limerick Celtics overcome St Mary from Kerry by a single point, while Glenbeigh Falcons out fought Brunell to clinch a final spot in their first visit to Cork. The final saw Limerick Celtics clinch victory in the closing minutes against a Glenbeigh that kept the final result in question up to the last whistle.
